Dumb question?


The usual total distance I get out of a pair of Nike Lunarglides is approx 200+km.

This is with usual training and the odd 10K.

My current pair has only just got to 104km and feel quite worn.

Could this be cause I ran at least a half marathon in them?  They do feel worn and there is a patch in the mid of the foot (although not too bad).

Any advice?

Should I change them?  Shouldn’t they last until at least 200km like my previous pairs?

    Have you been training in different areas? Training on the treadmill will wear your shoes less than running outside.

      Thanks for that. No I’m running the same type of terrain/same areas as before.

      I ran some soft ground in the training for my half marathon last year but older pairs were run on the same terrain and lasted longer.

    Or wear the same pair everyday till they are ready to go?
