Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you’ve had a wonderful year and enjoy the festive period. Richard and I have had a lovely year and have enjoyed a mix of travelling, spending time with family and friends and getting married (we were already legally married but on our 11th anniversary we converted…

Summer into Autumn

The summer was packed with days out, new experiences and the odd bit of decorating. Richard and I took a trip on the Tornado steam train from Walton on the Naze to Colchester in August.  The Tornado is a new steam train which has been built by hand based on a traditional steam locomotive.  It was…

In the Press

The first article featuring my OnePlus 5 photography is now online on the OnePlus Lab.  They have chosen a moody shot I took across the beach at Wells next the Sea.  In my opinion this isn’t a personal best but it does illustrate the zoom capability of the OnePlus 5.  It’s really interesting and fun to…

Wimpole. Yep. Another picnic.

Another weekend.  More scorching hot weather (so hot in fact we left Wimpole early as there was no shade which made it unbearable).  We made the most of it thought and visited Wimpole Estate in Cambridgeshire.  We took a picnic (this time with lovely fresh English strawberries) and enjoyed our lunch in a shady patch…

Twice a week!

Cannot believe we have just discovered Orwell Country Park.  6 years after moving to the…

Richard and I took a drive to Lincolnshire today to visit Belton House. The day started quite thundery but thankfully by the time we got there the weather was glorious. We decided to pack our cameras and have a day of gentle walks and shooting whatever caught our eye. It gave me an opportunity to…

A different view of London

It was lovely to meet up with Jeff this weekend whilst he visited London from Brooklyn. We got to enjoy some alternate sites in London thanks to the vibrancy of Brick Lane, Shoreditch, the East End and the City. See you in November Jeff (or is it September 😀 )

A bleak weekend

Not the brightest of weekends but the opportunity to try and capture the mood, the light and the snow with a time-lapse video. This is my largest volume of shots yet to create this time-lapse – nearly 2,000 photos!
