Summer into Autumn

The summer was packed with days out, new experiences and the odd bit of decorating. Richard and I took a trip on the Tornado steam train from Walton on the Naze to Colchester in August.  The Tornado is a new steam train which has been built by hand based on a traditional steam locomotive.  It was…

A lovely* experience

Well, I have to confess that even though I have not received my OnePlus 5 yet, nor have I started my new role as OnePlus Photographer, I am still having a lovely experience. The response from Social Media has been very nice and people have been kind and pleasant. I have received notes on Instagram, Twitter…

Exciting news!

Today my interests collided and I cannot be more excited!  As you know I am an avid photographer and also a big fan of technology. Well, rather unexpectedly this happened… OnePlus announce their new flagship smartphone on the 20th June –  The OnePlus 5.  The OnePlus Lab announced a couple weeks ago that they were…

It had to happen…

Things have been a bit quiet on the blog as I have been rather busier than normal.  Coupled with the glorious weather, I haven’t really wanted to stay indoors on the laptop. I also have a paper to write for my photography course and that is taking some of my free time. I must confess there is…

Waiting for the rain to stop…

Now I don’t mind running in the rain but it has been torrential since I got up this morning and it currently sees no sign of stopping.  I have therefore spent the morning cleaning up and ironing with Richard and we are currently preparing a healthy lunch. I cannot grumble about lack of activity this…

Rain does not stop play

As I approached Colchester this evening on the truing it was raining really hard.  I got wet walking home but was adamant this would not deter me from running. The rain did ease off as I left for my run but I got wet during it. I said I would complete 6K and I did….
