London.

All shot on Victoria Embankment, London during a short walk along the Thames to clear my head. It’s amazing what you see when you look.

Turning Friends into Rock Stars

Here is an update on the request I had a while back to find a model for my latest photography assignment. A couple friends stepped up and offered to help and I managed to find an hour with Sarah last week to shoot some photographs. I chose to shoot in London as I am fortunate enough…

Practice makes perfect

As much as I can I am going to try and take my camera with me every day or take a photo with it (at home) every day. I’d also like to extend this to learning Lightroom to get the results I want. I have made a start this week with the following photographs. Check…

Occupied.

No updates for a while as been very occupied with a few things.   Notably this week working in Rotterdam.  Normal service will resume soon. Until then check out my snap from the flight back last night… Approaching the uk A post shared by Keith (@trunkguy74) on Aug 10, 2016 at 10:01am PDT

Yay it’s working ;)

Thankfully when I returned home and dug out the official cable for my Polaroid Cube camera, it worked first time!  (Isn’t micro USB a pain in the ass!). Anyway that mean’s there are indeed some images from today (although I do think the battery was running low which is why it only recorded a handful of shots)….

#NoSelfie

I ran at lunchtime today as I had a full day and was determined to get a run in. It also ensured I took a breather from such a hectic schedule.  The weather was cooler than usual but it was nowhere near as crowded as it has been. That said I did get stuck behind…

Swerving and skidding all over London town!

I ran during my lunch break and managed 5K today. Mentally I could have easily have talked myself out of the distance and was planning to head for 4K but as usual I decided closer to 4k to continue. I was aiming to run from work to Tower Bridge but forgot the Thames Path has…

Oops, bit of a delay… and thank you!

I have just realised that I have not recorded my run from Tuesday which is a surprise as I enjoyed the run so much. I am not surprised that I forgot however as I ran during my lunch break and had a very long (3.5 hour) meeting which ran late so I was obviously more…

Quite a run…

I decided to complete one of this weeks run at lunch in London.  I hadn’t considered the significance of running today until I got up.  Today was the 10th anniversary of the July 7th bombings in London and there was a memorial service at St Paul’s today.  My office is between St. Paul’s and Westminster…

Join me on my run in London

As mentioned in yesterdays update I took my Polaroid Cube camera with me on my lunchtime 5K in London. Here is a video compilation of some of the highlights with some of the famous sights and landmarks I pass during this route.  (Excuse the shaky cam – I hope it doesn’t make you feel too queasy…

A faster 5K in London

It was supposed to be the smoggiest day of the year and we were warned about training in London but I wanted to get out and about so I did. I decided it it was too much I would simply go back but it felt no worse than normal and the sun was shining so…

A change of scenery

I decided I needed a change of scenery as my runs were feeling a bit stale. I managed to schedule in a lunch run today and thought of keeping it flat was around 5K I didn’t initially want to run to Westminster Bridge as it is usually teeming with tourists but mid run I thought…
